Clovertone’s 100% liquid products are more than a cost-effective alternative to solid fertiliser programmes. Our dual-action products provide all the nutrients to boost grass and feed crop yields and protect animal health while supporting the growth of Mycorrhiza fungi populations in the soil. These fungi assist the release of nutrients locked up in the soil.
We call it the Clovertone difference – sustainable additional productivity without the extra cost on your bottom line.
What is it with fungi?
Mycorrhiza fungi have a symbiotic relationship with plants – in biologically balanced soils, plant and fungi are mutually dependent. The beauty of these fungi is that their main purpose in life is to unlock and deliver nutrients directly to plant root systems in exchange for carbon from the plant. Conventional solid fertiliser programmes can inhibit the growth of Mycorrhiza fungi.
Liquid formulation
Clovertone products are formulated as true liquids – this means quicker plant uptake and less volatilisation. With these products you really do get more for less. Responsible use of fertiliser is defined by maximising the efficiency of nutrient use to avoid or minimise adverse environmental impacts and increase overall production efficiency. In other words, if you are getting a good commercial yield response – less is best.
Clovertone Products
Clovertone, CloverGuard, KiwiGuard ActiveN and Lactrace boost yields, add nutritional content to grass and feed crops while supporting biological activity in the soil.
Clovertone plant food 5-4-11 and 9-6-6 are true 100% liquid NPK fertilisers. They contain Nitrogen, Phosphate, Potassium and trace elements in a base of seaweed and plant extracts formulated for immediate plant uptake.
